A Commitment to Allegany County
I grew up during a time when Allegany County was thriving economically. My family worked at Kelly Springfield, and I witnessed both the strength of that era and the challenges that followed its closure.
That experience shaped my commitment to economic revitalization.
In my professional career, I was involved in the creation of the Great Allegheny Passage. That project demonstrated what strategic investment and long-term vision could accomplish. It marked the beginning of the revitalization we now see in tourism, outdoor recreation, and downtown Cumberland.
I have also traveled throughout Appalachia and seen communities similar to ours succeed. I know Allegany County can compete and win.
Outside of office, I enjoy hiking, cycling, kayaking, golf, bowling, yoga, and spending time exploring local businesses and craft breweries.
I believe in supporting the community not just through policy, but through participation.
